Monday, 9 December 2024. The Iron Swords War, which has been going on for 430 days, encompasses the operations of the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) in Lebanon, Syria, Gaza, Judea and Samaria. The conflict began on 7 October 2023 as Israel’s response to attacks by terrorist organisations. This is reported by Time Ukraine Israel portal, citing Newsru.co.il.
Control and combat operations
The IDF maintains a buffer zone in Syria and southern Lebanon. Strikes against terrorist military targets continue in the Gaza Strip. Suspects are being detained and terrorist networks are being dismantled in Judea and Samaria.

Morning operations
- 00:00-06:00:
In Syria, in the area of Dir al-Zur and Deraa, the Israeli Air Force struck warehouses with weapons, allegedly of Iranian origin. In Gaza, artillery and aircraft shelled targets in Al-Janin, Bait Lahiya, Nusairat and Dir al-Balas. Suspects were detained in the Balata and Shuafat camps and in several locations in Judea and Samaria. - 07:00-09:00:
Artillery fire continued in Gaza. According to the IDF, a drone launched from Yemen crashed in the city of Yavneh. It caused a fire in a residential building, but there were no casualties.
Noon and day

IDF conducts an air strike in Tubas, killing two armed terrorists. Raids were carried out in Hebron, Silwad, Samoua and other settlements. In Lebanon, according to local sources, Israeli artillery shelled the areas of Majdal Zun and Bint Jbeil. - Permission to publish:
On 8 December, four Israeli soldiers were killed in Lebanon when a tunnel near the village of Labuneh was blown up. Evening shelling

Aviation and artillery activity continued in Gaza. The areas of Al-Sabra, Ad-Dawah and others were shelled. In Syria and Lebanon, strikes were directed against key infrastructures of terrorist organisations.
The events of the 430th day of the war demonstrate the scale of Israel’s operations on several fronts. Despite the losses, the IDF is stepping up its efforts to neutralise threats on the northern and southern directions.
