Energy company Ukrenergo has announced that on Tuesday, 10 December, all regions of Ukraine will be subject to power outage schedules. The outages will be in the amount of one or two stages depending on the time of day.
Schedule for household consumers:
- 07:00 – 08:00 – one turn of outages;
- 08:00 – 19:00 – two rounds of outages;
- 19:00 – 22:00 – one round of outages.
Graphics for industry and business:
- Power restrictions will be in effect from 07:00 to 22:00.
Important notes:
Power engineers warn that the time and scope of outages may vary depending on the situation in the power system. In addition, citizens are urged to adhere to rational electricity consumption, especially not to switch on several powerful appliances at the same time after the power supply is restored.
Reasons for the restrictions:
Power outages remain necessary to stabilise the country’s energy system and ensure a balance between production and consumption.
Adherence to schedules will allow power engineers to ensure an even distribution of electricity and avoid emergencies.
