USAID delivers equipment to Ukraine to repair energy infrastructure

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has provided Ukraine with ten autonomous welding machines for the rapid repair of energy facilities damaged by Russian shelling. This was reported by the agency on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

“USAID has donated 10 autonomous welding machines that will ensure quick repairs to energy infrastructure damaged by Russian shelling. During Ukrainian winters, the rapid restoration of electricity and heat saves lives,” the statement said.

The value of assistance:

The equipment will significantly reduce the time required to restore electricity and heat supply in the face of winter cold, which is critical to preserving the lives and health of Ukrainians.

This support is part of USAID’s broader assistance to Ukraine to build resilience in the energy sector in the wake of war.
