15 December 2024 – The 436th day of the Iron Swords war, which Israel is waging against terrorist organisations in Gaza, Judea, Samaria, Lebanon and Syria, begins. Military operations began on 7 October 2023. According to the Time Ukraine Israel portal, citing Newsru.co.il, Israel continues to be active on several fronts.
The IDF controls the southern regions of Lebanon and the buffer zone in Syria, where weapons depots are being actively destroyed. At the same time, special operations aimed at neutralising terrorist threats continue in the Gaza Strip and Judea and Samaria.

Lebanese TV channel Al-Mayadeen reports that the IDF has taken control of key freshwater sources in southern Syria and advanced 15 km from the main road between Damascus and Beirut. The previous advance from Qatana indicates that the positions of Israeli forces have stabilised.

Intense shelling continues in Gaza:
- IDF strikes targets in Jabaliya.
- Artillery shelling of al-Shaaf and the eastern part of Gaza City.
- Clashes between militants and the Israeli military were recorded in Shema.

IDF units continue operations:
- The forces entered Umm Safa, north of Ramallah.
- In Gaza, the Givati and Kfir brigades eliminated dozens of terrorists, destroying their headquarters and weapons depots.
The Israeli Air Force struck Hamas headquarters, including the Abu Shabah clinic, and eliminated terrorists in three locations in Gaza City.
