Thursday, 19 December 2024, marks the 440th day of the Iron Swords War, which Israel is waging against terrorist organisations in Gaza, Judea, Samaria, Lebanon and Syria. The conflict, which has been ongoing since 7 October 2023, has expanded to new territories, including Yemen. This was reported by Time Ukraine Israel, citing Newsru.co.il.

In the villages of Ein a-Bsor and Magen, located near the Gaza Strip border, the “Tzeva Hell” alarm was triggered, warning of airspace violations.

In Kiryat Shmona and Manar, the “Tzevah by Hell” alarm sounded, but the IDF later reported a false alarm.
In Balata (Shechem), several local residents were injured during clashes with the Israeli military, including an elderly woman who died. At the same time, IDF operations continue in Bait Sira (west of Ramallah) and other settlements in Judea and Samaria.
In southern Lebanon, in the Bani Hayyan area, IDF engineering technicians are dismantling buildings.

Israeli air force strikes several targets in Gaza:
- Zaytun area, south-east of Gaza City – one dead and one injured.
- Jabaliya al-Balad area, northern sector – at least five people were killed.
- Khan Younis area, south of the sector – artillery shelling.
In addition, a loud explosion was heard in Jabaliya, and an air strike was recorded in the north-east of Rafah.

Yemen’s Houthi-affiliated Al-Masirah channel reports on massive Israeli air attacks on the city of Yemen:
According to the IDF, the strikes were a response to attempted attacks by the Houthis. Dozens of combat aircraft and refuelling planes took part in the operation. In total, at least nine people were killed.
- Four targets in the port of Hodeidah.
- Oil complex in the Ras Issa area.
- Power plants in the south and north of Sana’a.

In the centre of Israel, the “Tzevah Hell” alert was activated due to the threat of rocket fire from Yemen. The ballistic missile was successfully intercepted by the missile defence system, but the debris caused minor damage in Ramat Gan.
The 440th day of the war was marked by an escalation of hostilities on several fronts. Israel continues to fight terrorist threats by striking key enemy targets in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and Yemen.
