According to the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, published on 21 December on Telegram, the Russian army suffered serious losses over the past 24 hours. In the last 24 hours alone, the Ukrainian military eliminated 1,860 occupants, destroyed 10 tanks, 32 artillery systems, 98 vehicles and 85 operational and tactical drones.

Total combat losses of the Russian Federation since the beginning of the war (24 February 2022):

• Personnel: ~772,280 (+1860) people
• Tanks: 9,594 (+10) units.
• Armoured combat vehicles: 19,841 (+18) units.
• Artillery systems: 21,252 (+32) units.
• MLRS: 1,256 units.
• Air defence equipment: 1,027 units.
• Aircraft: 369 units.
• Helicopters: 329 units.
• UAVs of operational and tactical level: 20,685 (+85) units.
• Cruise missiles: 2,947 (+4) units.
• Ships/boats: 28 units.
• Submarines: 1 unit.
• Motor vehicles and tankers: 31,891 (+98) units.
• Special equipment: 3,662 units.

In addition to significant losses among the Russian military, the Security Service of Ukraine reported intercepts of occupiers’ conversations confirming heavy losses among the North Korean military sent to the Kursk region.

Ukrainian defenders continue to deal powerful blows to the enemy, demonstrating high efficiency on the battlefield.
