On the night of 22 December, debris from an enemy drone caused a fire in a 25-storey residential building in Brovary, Kyiv region. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service (SES).
The incident occurred at 00:30. According to the rescuers, the drone debris hit the roof of the building, causing the roof and the lift room to catch fire. The fire covered an area of 30 square metres.
“The rescuers promptly evacuated the residents of the building. There were no casualties or injuries. The fire has been extinguished,” the SES said in a statement.
The National Police also noted that the blast wave damaged windows and a car in another building in the city.
The authorities urged residents to remain calm and follow safety rules in the face of possible attacks.
