A morning rocket attack on Ukraine’s capital resulted in damage to private buildings in the Darnytskyi district. According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, rocket fragments fell on the roof, damaging three private houses and two cars. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
During the massive attack on 31 December, the Russian military used both drones and missiles. Kyiv’s air defence system was operating and shot down most of the targets, but the debris from one of the missiles landed in a residential area of the Darnytskyi district.
The attack also affected Sumy region. In Shostka, a missile strike destroyed infrastructure and damaged 12 multi-storey residential buildings. Information about the victims is being updated.
