According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 148 combat engagements were recorded on the frontline over the past day, 10 more than the previous day. The defence forces inflicted significant losses on the Russian invaders, destroying four areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, a command and observation post, and an air defence system.
Scale of Russian shelling
Russian troops carried out 4 missile and 64 air strikes on Ukrainian troops’ positions and civilian objects. To do so, the aggressor used:
- 11 missiles;
- 2257 kamikaze drones;
- 95 guided aerial bombs;
- almost 5,000 artillery attacks, including 230 from MLRS.
The most intense attacks were on settlements in Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.
Attacks in key areas
- Kharkiv sector: two enemy attacks in the area of Vovchansk were repelled.
- Kupyansk direction: Ukrainian troops successfully resisted seven occupants’ attacks near Kucherivka, Synkivka and Zahryzove.
- In theLiman sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian Armed Forces positions 11 times near Nadiya, Makiivka, Hryhorivka and other localities.
- Kramatorsk sector: 10 hostilities were registered, including near Chasovyi Yar and Bila Hora.
- Toretsk sector: defence forces stopped 7 attacks near Toretsk, Diliyivka and Shcherbynivka.
- Pokrovsk sector: the most intense fighting. Ukrainian defenders repelled 40 attacks in the areas of Pokrovsk, Myrolyubivka, Lysivka, Zvirove and others.
- Kurakhove direction: 11 enemy attacks were successfully repelled.
- In theOrikhivsk sector, one attack near Novoandriivka was repelled, the enemy actively used aviation.
- Dnipro sector: the aggressor made two unsuccessful assault attempts.
Situation in other parts of the frontline
No signs of an enemy offensive have been detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions. In the Sumy and Chernihiv regions, Russian troops continue artillery and aerial shelling of border settlements.
