General Staff report: Russians conducted 213 attacks over the last day, most of them in the Pokrovsk sector

On 10 January, Russian troops carried out 213 attacks along the entire frontline in Ukraine, 72 of them in the Pokrovsk sector, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reports.

Main areas of attack

  1. Kharkiv direction:
    • Five attacks in the areas of Vovchansk and Starytsia.
  2. Kupyansk direction:
    • Eight attacks near the settlements of Kucherivka, Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Zahryzove and Lozova.
  3. Liman direction:
    • 39 attacks near Tverdokhlibove, Hrekivka, Zelenyi Hai, Pershotravneve, Makiivka, Terny and Zarichne.
  4. Northbound:
    • Two attacks in the area of Bilohorivka, the enemy did not succeed.
  5. Kramatorsk direction:
    • 32 clashes near Bila Hora, Predtechyno, Chasovyi Yar and Stupochky.
  6. Pokrovske direction:
    • The most intense area – 72 assault attempts.
  7. End direction:
    • Five attacks near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.
  8. Novopavlivske direction:
    • 14 attacks in the areas of Kostyantynopil, Zelenivka, Rozlyv, Rozdolne, Velyka Novosilka and Neskuchne.

Kursk region

In the operational area in Kursk region, the Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled 29 attacks.

The Russians fired 386 artillery rounds, including 14 from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
