As of 16:00 on 11 January 2025, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported 121 combat engagements between Ukrainian troops and Russian invaders in various frontline areas.
Most of the fighting took place in the Pokrovsk sector, where 56 combat engagements were registered. The enemy attacked in the vicinity of several localities, including Baranivka, Yelizavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zelene, Novyi Trud, Zvirove, Novoandriivka, Uspenivka, Slovianka and Kostyantynopolske. Ukrainian troops repelled 46 enemy attacks, and another 10 battles are ongoing.
Areas of active hostilities
- Pokrovske direction: the largest number of clashes with Russians, in particular in the vicinity of numerous settlements.
- Kupyansk sector: 13 attempts to advance in the areas of Holubivka, Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka and Zahryzove. Nine engagements take place.
- Liman sector: 16 combat engagements in the areas of Zelenyi Hai, Novoyehorivka, Makiivka, Terny, etc. Two battles are ongoing.
- Kramatorsk sector: 13 attacks, 10 of which were repelled.
- Novopavlivka sector: five unsuccessful enemy attacks near Novosilka and Velyka Novosilka.
- In theDnipro sector, there was one firefight, the enemy did not succeed.
Kursk region: assaults by Russian troops repelled
Intense fighting continues in the Kursk region, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces are repelling attacks by Russian troops. A total of 12 enemy attacks were recorded, three of which are still ongoing.
