The IDF press service reported successful operations by the Nahal Brigade in the Beit Hanoun area of the Gaza Strip. In a statement, the brigade commander thanked the soldiers: “I congratulate you, commanders and soldiers, who every day carry out the most important mission of defending and protecting the State of Israel.”

Results of operations

In the course of the military operations, the brigade discovered and dismantled several launch sites used to launch rockets towards Israel, as well as rockets that were being prepared for launch. In addition, mined structures and surveillance equipment installed in the area to harm Israeli forces were neutralised.

Losses and condolences

Both commanders and soldiers of the Nahal Brigade were killed in the intense fighting in recent days. The IDF expresses its deepest condolences to the families of the victims and emphasises its support and accompaniment during this difficult time.
