Ukrainian petrol station chains continue to raise fuel prices, as evidenced by the monitoring data of the A-95 Consulting Group published by the Enkorr. Representatives of fuel companies predict that the rise in prices will continue.

Price changes by network

– At OKKO filling stations, petrol and liquefied gas went up by 50 kopecks per litre, and diesel by UAH 1 per litre.

WOG raised prices for its entire fuel range by 75 kopecks per litre.

Poltava Autotrans added UAH 1 to the price of petrol and diesel.

BVS raised prices only for diesel fuel by 50 kopecks per litre.

Privat has raised the price of A-95 petrol by an average of UAH 1.14 per litre (to UAH 57.08 per litre) and gas by UAH 1 per litre (to UAH 37.98 per litre).

BRSM-Nafta increased petrol prices by 41 kopecks per litre, diesel by 7 kopecks per litre, and gas by 24 kopecks per litre.

Avantazh 7 added 50 kopecks per litre to the entire fuel line.

YTD growth

Since the beginning of the year, petrol and diesel prices in OKKO and WOG networks have increased by UAH 1.50-1.75 per litre, which is explained by the full transfer of excise tax increases to the final price.

Reasons and prognosis

The increase in prices is due to the growing tax burden and global trends in the oil market. Representatives of fuel companies note that the price increase is likely to continue in the coming months, given changes in logistics and fluctuations in the cost of oil on international markets.

Impact on consumers

Increases in fuel prices can affect the final cost of goods and services, as well as transport costs, which is a concern for drivers and businesses. The government is urged to consider possible compensatory mechanisms to reduce the burden on consumers.
