Night attack on a destroyed station
Despite the fact that the station had been completely destroyed in previous attacks, the enemy struck again last night. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries. Immediately after the shelling, experts began work to clear the rubble, Time Ukraine Israel reports, citing the press service of Centrenergo.
Losses are growing rapidly
The total financial losses from the attacks that the company has experienced already exceed €250 million. This amount continues to grow as the damage assessment continues. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the company’s thermal power plants have been hit by more than 50 shelling attacks, causing widespread damage.
Consequences of massive attacks
In the spring of 2024, Centrenergo became the only energy company in Ukraine that was forced to completely stop generating due to massive enemy attacks. Despite all the difficulties, the company continues to work to restore the infrastructure and ensure stable energy supply.
The aggressor continues to target Ukraine’s critical infrastructure, which only underscores its desire to destabilise the energy sector. Nevertheless, Centrenergo remains a symbol of resilience and readiness to recover even in the most difficult conditions.
