The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports intense fighting at the frontline: 166 combat engagements took place over the last day. The hottest spots are the Pokrovske and Toretske directions, where the enemy has concentrated its greatest efforts.
In the Pokrovsk sector, 78 Russian assault and offensive actions were registered. Ukrainian defence forces successfully stopped the attacks in the areas of Vodiane Druha, Myrolyubivka, Yelizavetivka, Prominnya and other localities.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out nine attacks near Toretsk.
In the Kharkiv sector, Russians conducted four attacks near Vovchansk.
In the Kupyansk sector, 11 hostile attacks took place near Stepova Novoselivka, Kolisnykivka, Hlushkivka and Zahryzove.
In the Liman sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 15 attacks near Hrekivka, Novoyehorivka, Nadiya, Zelenyi Hai, Makiivka, Yampolivka and Torske.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy made 21 attempts to break through in the areas of Chasovyi Yar, Stupochky and Bila Hora.
In the Novopavlivka sector, Russian troops attacked 12 times near Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv, Rozdolne, Novosilka and Velyka Novosilka.
In the Orikhivsk sector, one attack was registered in the direction of Novoandriivka.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the enemy also launched one attack, which was successfully repelled by Ukrainian troops.
The General Staff emphasises that the intensity of the fighting indicates the enemy’s attempts to advance in various directions. The Ukrainian defence forces maintain control over the situation, inflicting losses on the Russian army.
