Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine: almost 63 thousand people are missing

As of 3 February 2025, 62,948 people are still being searched for in Ukraine, including military personnel and civilians. This figure includes both military and civilians, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

According to the Commissioner for Missing Persons, Artur Dobroserdov, it has been possible to locate or identify the bodies of 10,291 people to date.

Most of the disappeared persons were in the areas of hostilities or on the temporarily occupied territories. The register also includes information on persons who disappeared as a result of natural or man-made emergencies.

The search is ongoing, and Ukrainian law enforcement agencies are calling on citizens to provide any information that may help establish the whereabouts of the missing people.
