https://www.jpost.com/israel-news/article-840712Президент US President Donald Trump, during a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House, said that the plan to relocate Gaza residents would be implemented. This was reported by The Jerusalem Post.

“They will not say no to me. I want to resettle all the people of Gaza,” Trump said, adding that Egypt and Jordan would agree to accept the refugees.

According to Trump, the Gaza Strip has “never worked” and cannot be a viable region. He suggested finding new territories for Gazans, building new cities for them and attracting investors to make the place “beautiful and comfortable to live in”.

“It’s just a zone of total destruction. There is nothing left for them. I mean, have you seen the pictures? These are terrible conditions. Who can live there?” the US president said.

Trump is confident that after the resettlement, Gazans will not want to return. “If given the opportunity, they will leave. And they will not return,” he concluded.
