UAH 43.4 billion was allocated for Ukraine’s defence: NBU reports on revenues and expenditures
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, almost UAH 43.4 billion has been transferred from the special account opened by the National Bank of Ukraine for defence needs, including more than UAH 5.4 billion in January 2025.
This was reported by the National Bank of Ukraine.
It is noted that as of 1 February 2025, the balance of funds on the special account, which the National Bank opened to support the defence forces on 24 February 2022, was over UAH 18.3 billion. Over the past month, the special account received over UAH 11.7 billion. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, almost UAH 43.4 billion has been transferred from the special account opened by the National Bank of Ukraine for defence needs, including over UAH 5.4 billion in January 2025.
