This morning in Kherson was marred by another attack by Russian occupation forces. According to Roman Mrochko, the head of the Kherson MVA, two people were wounded as a result of shelling of the city’s central district.
A 48-year-old man was immediately hospitalised with serious injuries, including contusion, mine-blast and closed head injury. A 55-year-old woman was treated on the spot for blast trauma and shrapnel wounds.
This incident is part of a long series of aggressive actions by the Russian military, which has intensified attacks on the central district of Kherson in recent days. Residential buildings and warehouses are regularly targeted, causing civilian casualties.
The local authorities and rescue services continue to work in a high-risk environment to minimise the impact on local residents and ensure their safety. The situation in the city remains tense.
