Billionaire Elon Musk has officially announced the launch of a new chatbot based on artificial intelligence – Grok 3, which is a development of his company xAI. According to Reuters, the presentation will take place on Monday in the format of a live demonstration.
Grok 3 – a new level of AI?
According to Musk, Grok 3 is at the final stage of development and demonstrates unique capabilities of advanced logical thinking. The businessman claims that his chatbot has outperformed all competitors, including ChatGPT, during testing.
The AI system is part of the xAI startup that Musk founded in 2023 as a response to OpenAI. It is known that in 2015, Musk was one of the co-founders of OpenAI, but left the company in 2018 due to disagreements in the vision of its development.
Conflict with OpenAI and rejected offer
Recently, a consortium led by Musk made a sensational offer of $97.4 billion to buy a controlling stake in OpenAI. However, OpenAI’s board of directors rejected the deal, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Where will Grok 3 be available?
Initially, Grok 3 will be an exclusive product for premium users of Musk’s X (formerly Twitter) social network, as well as for corporate clients.
The Grok 3 presentation will take place on Monday at 20:00 Pacific Time (04:00 GMT, Tuesday) and will be broadcast live.
