The supply of weapons to Ukraine under contracts with American companies continues, said Fedir Venislavsky, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defence and Intelligence. He said this on 21 February, UNN reports.

When asked whether the US had actually stopped selling weapons to Ukraine, Venislavsky replied: “I have no such information. According to my information, the supplies are going on.” He clarified that he was talking about contracts with American companies.

The day before, the Secretary of the Committee on National Security, Defence and Intelligence, Roman Kostenko, said that the US had stopped selling weapons to Ukraine. However, MP Oleksandra Ustinova of the Voice party denied this information, stressing that there had been no changes in the procurement process.

Thus, the situation with arms supplies remains a subject of debate, but official sources confirm that contracts are being fulfilled and deliveries are continuing.
