Russian troops are trying to develop an offensive in the Pokrovske direction by intensifying attacks on Ukrainian positions. This was reported by the Khortytsia operational and strategic group of troops on Telegram, Time Ukraine Israel reports.

In this direction, the enemy attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defence Forces near the settlements of Vodiane Druhe, Yelizavetivka, Kotlyne, Promin, Pishchane, Serhiivka, Andriivka and Ulakly. Russian troops are trying to exploit their numerical superiority, but Ukrainian defenders are putting up a good fight. Heavy fighting continues.

In the Kharkiv sector, Russian troops unsuccessfully attempted to storm Ukrainian positions in Vovchansk yesterday. In the Kupyansk sector, the occupants conducted assault operations near Zahryzove, but all attacks were repelled.

In the Lyman sector, Russian assault groups attacked Ukrainian troops’ fortifications in the areas of Kopanky, Novolyubivka, Terny, Kolodyazy and Yampolivka, but the tactical situation of Ukrainian forces remains unchanged.

At the Kramatorsk and Toretsk directions, the Russian army, supported by aviation and artillery, attacked the positions of the Defence Forces near Diliyivka and in Toretsk. Konstantynivka, Chasiv Yar and Toretsk were hit by air strikes.

In the area of Vasyukivka, Russian troops attempted to use motorised vehicles to deploy personnel. Ukrainian defenders destroyed three of the invaders’ motorcycles as a result of fire.

In the Novopavlivka sector, Russian assault groups attacked in the areas of Kostiantynopil, Novoocheretuvate and Burlatske. Near Zelenivka, the enemy also tried to deploy assault groups using motorised vehicles, but Ukrainian artillery destroyed three more motorcycles.

The Ukrainian defence forces continue to hold their positions and inflict significant losses on the enemy.
