BETHLEHEM – On Saturday, IDF, Israel Security Agency (ISA) and Israeli police forces conducted a joint anti-terrorist operation in Judea and Samaria. The operation resulted in the detention of 26 people suspected of terrorist activity, the confiscation of three firearms and other weapons, and the interrogation of suspects.
The operation continued in northern Samaria, where security forces intensified their activities in Jenin, Tulkarm and Nur Shams and expanded operations to other towns in the region on Sunday morning. Detentions also took place in the areas of Nablus, Qabatiya and Deir Qaddis.
The IDF spokesman stressed the critical importance of such operations for ensuring the safety of Israeli citizens and strengthening stability in the region. “We are in a state of constant readiness to protect our citizens in any circumstances,” he added.
