Hamas delegation arrives in Cairo for talks

Representatives of Hamas have announced a new stage of ceasefire negotiations. According to Cursorinfo, a delegation of the terrorist organisation led by Shura Council Chairman Muhammad Darwish arrived in Cairo for consultations with Egyptian mediators.

According to Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem, the parties discussed the implementation of the Arab summit’s decisions and further steps to implement the agreement to end hostilities.

Hamas official statement: negotiations are yielding positive results

In an official statement, the terrorist group expressed confidence that the talks had yielded positive results. This, in their opinion, will allow them to complete the current stage of the ceasefire and move to the next level of agreements.

Hamas representative Abdel Latif al-Qanoa noted that mediators, including Egypt and Qatar, are actively working to fully implement the agreement. According to him, there are positive signals about the start of the next stage of negotiations.

“We are ready for further discussions to achieve the fulfilment of the demands of the Palestinian people. We call for intensified efforts to provide assistance to the Gaza Strip and lift the blockade,” said Al-Kanoa.

Israeli families continue rallies in support of hostages

Against the backdrop of negotiations in Cairo, mass rallies in support of the hostages kidnapped by Hamas continue in Israel. Today, Anat Angrest, the mother of Israeli soldier Matan Angrest, whose video was previously published by terrorists, will speak at the rally.

She will be joined by relatives of other abductees, as well as former hostages Karina Aryeva and Ilana Gritsovski. The event will also feature a video with the released Eli-Ha Cohen.

The situation remains tense, and it remains to be seen whether the talks will lead to a real cessation of hostilities or just a temporary truce.
