Large-scale fighting and airstrikes: over 200 clashes and 184 aerial bombs on the frontline over the last day

25 March was one of the most intense days at the frontline: according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 207 combat engagements with Russian troops took place. This is significantly more than the previous day, when 165 attacks were recorded.

The enemy actively used aviation. The Russians conducted 116 air strikes, dropping 184 guided bombs on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements. Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions suffered the most damage.

In addition to aviation, the Russian army carried out more than 5,500 attacks, of which 159 were from multiple launch rocket systems. The damage was also caused by 2,233 kamikaze drones.

The hottest destinations:

Pokrovske direction: a record number of attacks – 69 assaults. The enemy tried to break through in the areas of Sukhoi Balka, Kalynove, Lysivka, Andriivka, Preobrazhenka and others.

Liman sector: 24 attacks, including near Yampolivka, Olhivka and Katerynivka.

Toretsk sector: 26 combat engagements in the area of Toretsk, Diliyivka and Krymske.

Novopavlivka direction: 23 assault attempts near Rozlyv, Dniproenergia, and Kostiantynopil.

Kupyansk, Siversk, Kramatorsk and Kharkiv directions: several attacks each, which Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled.

Between one and nine attacks were registered in the Huliaypillia, Orikhiv and Prydniprovskyi sectors, all of which were unsuccessful for the enemy.

There were no signs of preparations for an offensive in the Volyn and Polissya areas.

The Ukrainian Defence Forces responded by striking nine areas where enemy troops and equipment were concentrated, as well as a command post, two artillery systems and three other important facilities.

The operation in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation is also underway, where the enemy continues to retaliate. Over the past day, the Russians carried out 19 air raids, dropping 23 drones, and 247 attacks, including 7 from multiple rocket launchers. In these conditions, Ukrainian defenders stopped 29 attacks.

Ukraine is holding the line along the entire frontline, despite increasing pressure from Russia and the massive use of drones, bombs and artillery.
