On the night of 26 March, Russian troops carried out another attack with attack drones on the territory of Cherkasy region. According to the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets, most of the Russian drones were aimed at the regional centre.
The air defence forces reacted quickly, destroying 12 enemy UAVs in the region.
However, despite the effective work of air defences, the attack damaged the infrastructure facility. A fire broke out at the site, which has now been completely extinguished. According to the head of the region, there were no casualties.
In addition, the wreckage of one of the drones damaged the warehouse of a private enterprise.
Cherkasy region has once again been targeted by the enemy, which confirms that the attacks are aimed at the rear areas and civilian infrastructure.
