The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) reported that since the start of Operation Pillar of Defense, which began on the night of 18 March 2025, its air force has attacked more than 430 targets in the Gaza Strip, Lebanon and Syria. This is stated in a statement by the IDF press service.

On Tuesday, 25 March, Israeli Air Force fighters struck a number of military targets in Syria. Among them are strategic targets at the T4 and Tadmor bases. According to the press service, over the past week alone, Israeli aircraft attacked 18 targets on Syrian territory aimed at weakening the military potential of the enemy forces.

In addition, on Saturday, 22 March, in response to a rocket attack, Israeli forces struck more than 40 Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon and inland. These attacks were part of a broader campaign aimed at neutralising the militant threat.

Operation Pillar of Defense marked the resumption of active hostilities after a two-month pause in the Gaza Strip. At the same time, the IDF continues operations in Lebanon and Syria, demonstrating a multidimensional approach to ensuring Israel’s security. According to the army, these strikes are aimed at destroying the infrastructure of terrorist groups and preventing their attacks.

The operation is currently ongoing, and the Israeli military has declared its readiness to take further action to protect the country from threats from several fronts.
