On the evening of Wednesday, 26 March 2025, Russian troops launched a drone strike on Dnipro, causing several large-scale fires in the city. This was reported by the head of the Dnipro Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak. According to him, the attack set fire to cars and infrastructure facilities, and all emergency services are already working on the ground to eliminate the consequences.

“The drone attack caused several fires in Dnipro. Cars and infrastructure facilities caught fire. All services are working,” Lysak said in a statement. Information about the victims is currently being clarified, and the authorities are assessing the extent of the damage.

Meanwhile, photos and videos are actively circulating on social media, which, according to eyewitnesses, show the aftermath of the strikes. Judging by the published materials, the drones hit an area with dense residential buildings, which caused concern among local residents. Social media users report loud explosions and significant damage, but there is no official confirmation of the exact locations of the strikes.

This attack was another episode in the escalation of hostilities in the region. Earlier that evening, Russian troops launched a massive attack on Kharkiv and Kharkiv region, where at least 12 drone strikes were recorded. And two weeks ago, a previous drone attack on Dnipro left about 10,000 people without electricity and water supply due to damaged infrastructure.

Local authorities are urging residents to remain calm, follow safety rules and avoid staying near potentially dangerous facilities. Work is currently underway to extinguish the fires and establish a full picture of the consequences of another Russian strike.
