German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius has announced a major new military aid package for Ukraine. The package includes four IRIS-T air defence systems, 300 guided missiles, 120 man-portable air defence systems, 300 reconnaissance drones, 25 Marder infantry fighting vehicles, 15 Leopard tanks, 14 artillery systems, 100 radars and 100,000 artillery shells, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

In addition, in recent days, Germany has already handed over 30 guided missiles for the Patriot system to Ukraine, which were previously supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

“Our strong support continues,” Pistorius said before the Ramstein meeting in Brussels.

Germany remains one of Ukraine’s key partners in the fight against Russian aggression, constantly strengthening the defence capabilities of Ukrainian forces against new threats.
