Russian attack on Odesa: hospital, residential buildings and infrastructure damaged

On the night of 14 April, Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov posted photos and details of the aftermath of another Russian attack on the city that took place the night before.

According to him, a Russian drone strike damaged one of Odesa’s medical institutions, destroying the ceiling and breaking the windows. The hospital’s operating theatre was heavily damaged. Fortunately, no patients were injured.

“Russians have once again attacked peaceful Odesa. In one of the medical institutions, the ceiling and glazing were damaged, and the operating theatre was destroyed. Patients were not injured,” Trukhanov said.

In addition, the destruction of residential buildings, civilian infrastructure, a main road, a car service station and vehicles was recorded.

The city’s municipal and emergency services are currently working at the arrival sites. The authorities are recording the impact and helping the affected residents.
