The Golani Brigade continues operations in the Morag corridor in the Rafah area. During the operation, the IDF discovered and destroyed Hamas terrorist infrastructure, including a weapons depot, a base for terrorist operations, and a training complex for the Shabura battalion. The complex contained a model tank that imitated an IDF tank.
Last week, a terrorist group opened fire on a military brigade operating in the area. The soldiers returned fire and killed two terrorists. Shortly afterwards, an Israeli Air Force aircraft struck and killed another terrorist from the same group.
IDF forces will continue operations against terrorist organisations in the Gaza Strip to protect Israeli civilians.
