All services are on the ground, residents are urged not to ignore air raid alerts
On the evening of 17 April, Russian troops attacked Mykolaiv with an unknown jet drone. This was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration, Vitaliy Kim.
“Arrival of a jet UAV of unknown type. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties. There is a fire at the site, the services are extinguishing it,” Kim said.
Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych confirmed the information and clarified that the residential sector was not damaged. “Preliminary, there were no casualties. All the necessary services are working at the scene. Dear friends, take care of yourselves and do not neglect the alarms,” the mayor urged the citizens.
Rescuers are quickly eliminating the consequences of the fire caused by the attack. The UBA emphasises that no one was injured in the incident.
