The IDF carried out an air strike on a car near the village of Al-Ghazia, south of the city of Saida (Sidon) in Lebanon. This was reported by local sources, Newsru reports.
According to photos and videos posted on social media, a Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV was hit. The strike was targeted and, according to preliminary data, the target was destroyed.
Official sources have not yet released details about the person who was in the car or whether the target belonged to the armed forces.
The information is being clarified. Lebanese security services are working at the scene. The region is experiencing heightened tension amid regular exchanges of strikes between Israel and Hezbollah.
