Over the past day, 143 combat engagements were recorded at the frontline, with the largest number of them in the Liman, Pokrovsk, Toretsk and Kursk sectors. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on 18 April.
The enemy launched 2 missile and 94 air strikes, using 4 missiles, 151 guided aerial bombs and 3,029 kamikaze drones. There were also 6507 artillery attacks, including 143 from multiple launch rocket systems.
The situation on the routes:
– Kharkiv direction: one unsuccessful attempt to break through in the area of Vovchansk.
– Kupianske: four attacks repelled by Ukrainian forces near Petropavlivka, Synkivka and Zahryzove.
– Limanskyi: the enemy carried out 20 attacks, in particular near Novovodiane, Nadiya, Novove, Novomykhailivka, Yampolivka, as well as in the direction of Hrekivka and Hryhorivka.
– Siverskyi: two attacks were repelled in the area of Bilohorivka and Verkhnekamianske.
– Kramatorsk: 8 attacks in the areas of Chasovyi Yar, Kurdyumivka and Stupochky.
– Toretsk: 11 attacks near Toretsk, Ozaryanivka and Druzhba.
– Pokrovske: the hottest area of the frontline – Ukrainian troops stopped 64 enemy attacks in the areas of Sukhoi Balka, Stara Mykolaivka, Zelenyi Pole, Vodiane Druha, Yelizavetivka, Novotoretske, Promin, Lysivka, Kotlynove, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka and Andriivka.
– Novopavlivske: 9 attacks repelled near Kostiantynopol, Rozlyv and Pryvilne.
– Orikhivskyi: one attempted assault near Mala Tokmachka was unsuccessful.
– Kursk region: 21 combat engagements, 18 air strikes, 25 subversive attacks and 368 attacks, including 8 from multiple rocket launchers.
– Huliaypillia and Prydniprovia sectors: the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions.
– Volyn and Polissya directions: no signs of the formation of strike groups were detected.
