On 20 April, the Israeli Defence Forces reported a series of air strikes on the facilities of the Hezbollah terrorist group in southern Lebanon. According to the IDF’s official statement, the strikes targeted rocket launchers and military infrastructure in the Nabatiyeh area, which were firing at Israeli territory.

In addition, earlier that day, Israeli forces struck the Hula area, killing one of Hezbollah’s key terrorists, the head of engineering support at the Odaissa complex.

The IDF stressed that such actions by Hezbollah are a gross violation of the agreements reached between Israel and Lebanon and pose a direct threat to the lives and safety of Israeli citizens.

The Israeli army continues to carry out targeted strikes against militant infrastructure to neutralise threats on the northern border and prevent an escalation of violence.
