On the night of 30 April, Russian troops carried out another massive kamikaze drone attack in the Dnipro region. Dnipro and Nikopol district were hit the hardest. The shelling killed one civilian and injured another. Residential buildings, infrastructure, businesses and a restaurant complex were damaged.
This was announced by the head of the Dnipro Regional State Administration Serhii Lysak on his Telegram channel.

“It was a difficult night for Dnipro. A 53-year-old man was killed in a massive shakedown attack in the city. My condolences to the family and friends. A 78-year-old local resident was injured,” Lysak wrote.
In Dnipro itself, the private sector suffered the most. Large-scale fires broke out as a result of the strikes. They have already been extinguished. One house was destroyed and several others were seriously damaged. Part of a business was destroyed, and a funeral home and a car were damaged.
Shelling of the area and its consequences
In the evening of 29 April, the enemy attacked the Myrovska and Pokrovska communities of Nikopol district with drones. Later, in the early morning, Nikopol and the Marhanetska community were attacked with Grad multiple rocket launchers.
As a result of shelling:
- a restaurant complex burned down;
- 7 private houses were damaged;
- 2 garages and 2 cars were destroyed;
- power lines were cut.
Air defence strength
According to the head of the region, Ukrainian air defence forces destroyed nine kamikaze drones over the region. Lysak thanked the defenders of the sky for their continuous work in the face of enemy terror.
