After several airlines cancelled flights to Israel on Sunday due to a Houthi rocket falling near Ben Gurion International Airport, there are signs of air traffic resuming.

According to Maariv, Wizz Air completely cancelled flights on Monday, but plans to resume flights to Larnaca, Sofia, Budapest, and Krakow on Tuesday.

“The flight board has been updated, and most airlines have not cancelled their slots,” the airport said.

At the same time, Lufthansa Group is taking a more cautious approach, cancelling all flights for at least the next 24 hours without announcing when flights will resume. According to sources, the group usually does not return to Israel until it is confident that there is complete safety for crews and passengers.

Ryanair has not yet resumed flights, and its slots remain cancelled.

Delta Airlines, on the other hand, has not cancelled flights for Tuesday and, according to preliminary data, plans to resume routes to New York and Los Angeles if there are no new escalations.

Passengers are advised to closely monitor their airlines’ communications regarding flight status, possible changes and options for refunds or rescheduling.
