On Monday night, Russian troops launched a massive attack with Shahed kamikaze drones and imitation drones. A total of 108 UAVs were launched from various directions, including Bryansk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk and the temporarily occupied Crimea.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its report.
“As a result of the coordinated work of aviation, air defence units, electronic warfare and mobile fire groups, 55 attack drones were destroyed, and another 30 imitator drones were lost, without harm to infrastructure or civilians,” the statement said.
Confirmed consequences of the attack were recorded in Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Odesa and Mykolaiv regions. The defence forces managed to maintain control over the situation, ensuring the maximum level of airspace protection.
