DIU announces jury members of the final of the international OSINT hackathon dedicated to the anniversary of War & Sanctions

The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine has announced the composition of the jury that will conduct the final evaluation of the participants of the international OSINT hackathon dedicated to the anniversary of the War & Sanctions analytical portal.

According to the DIU’s Facebook page, the jury was composed of the following members:

  • Andriy Yusov is a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine,
  • Andriy Kovalenko is the head of the Centre for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defence Council,
  • Vitaly Lavrov is Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports for Digitalisation.

Focus on expanding analytics and OSINT tools

The hackathon participants, both from Ukraine and abroad, submitted their work in three areas:

  • expanding the functionality of the War&Sanctions portal;
  • offering new thematic blocks;
  • analytical research based on open data.

The materials are currently being checked and evaluated. After the jury makes its final decision, the winners will receive awards and gifts from the Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov.
