Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga will visit Brussels on Monday, 23 June, to attend a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council at the invitation of the new EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas.
This was reported by the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
As noted, Sibiga will brief European partners on the situation at the front, focusing on Ukraine’s urgent defence needs, primarily in strengthening its air defence capabilities.
“We will also discuss the need for further sanctions steps to increase pressure on the aggressor,” the statement said.
The Ukrainian diplomat will focus on further steps in the process of Ukraine’s European integration.
In addition, Sibiga will hold a series of bilateral meetings with European colleagues and representatives of expert circles.
