The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal has called on partners and allies to take decisive action in response to another wave of Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities. He made the announcement in his Telegram.
“Another night of Russian terror. Missiles and hundreds of drones were fired at Ukrainian cities, at people who were peacefully sleeping in their homes,” the Prime Minister stressed.
According to him, more than ten people have been confirmed dead.
Kyiv and seven regions were hit. In the capital, a residential building was partially destroyed, and there are dead and wounded, including children and a pregnant woman.
Shmyhal noted that all services are working at the sites of the attacks and that everyone affected will receive the necessary assistance.
“We call on our partners and allies to take tough action in response to Russia’s crimes. We need to impose sanctions on the aggressor’s key economic sectors, and we need more means of protection for Ukraine from enemy air targets. We must be resolute and united to counter the Russian threat,” the Prime Minister stressed.
