Strike on Dnipro: death toll rises to 17, injuries to 174

As a result of a powerful missile attack by the Russian army on the city of Dnipro, the death toll has risen to 17 people, and 174 more people have been injured. This was reported by the Dnipro Regional Prosecutor’s Office on its Telegram channel.

“The death toll in Dnipro has risen to 17. Unfortunately… 174 people were injured,” he wrote.

The injured are in hospitals, dozens are in serious condition

Almost a hundred of the wounded continue to be hospitalised in city hospitals. Doctors are fighting for their lives under extreme pressure.

“I thank the doctors for their selfless work, as well as the rescuers, police, utilities – everyone who came to the rescue immediately,” Lysak added.

Attack on civilians: the aftermath of destruction

According to preliminary information, the strike targeted the residential sector, medical facilities and infrastructure. Dozens of houses, hospitals, schools and public facilities were damaged. The debris is being cleared and critical infrastructure is being restored.
