The morning of June 26 began for the residents of Selidovy Donetsk region with a powerful explosion that shook the city at 04:10. Russian aggressors dropped a FAB-500 aerial bomb aimed at residential quarters and administrative buildings.
Cohesion and resistance
Fortunately, there were no casualties or fatalities, but the destruction was significant. The administrative building of the emergency department, six five-story buildings, 37 private residential buildings and one car were damaged. These numbers are silent witnesses of the barbarism that the Ukrainian people face every day.
The Selydiv city military administration promptly reported the attack on its Telegram channel, urging residents to be careful and remain calm.
Preservation of morale in the conditions of war
This attack is just one of many daily acts of aggression that are trying to break the spirit of the Selydiv community. But the townspeople maintain resilience and solidarity, helping each other rebuild damaged homes and supporting each other in hard times.
Despite all the difficulties, the Ukrainian people remain indomitable, demonstrating to the world that even in the darkest hours one can find strength and courage to face the enemy. Selidove is an example of how, even in the most difficult conditions, a community can unite and fight back against an aggressor.
