Beirut, Lebanon — The Saudi Arabian Embassy in Beirut issued an emergency message urging all citizens of the kingdom to leave Lebanon immediately. This step is connected with the deterioration of the situation in the south of the country.
The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reports that this call is due to the aggravation of the situation in the region, and reminds that the Saudi authorities have previously banned their citizens from visiting Lebanon. Similar measures have already been taken by other countries, including Germany and Kuwait.
The embassy’s statement emphasizes the need for an urgent departure from Lebanon to ensure the safety of Saudi citizens. The situation in southern Lebanon continues to deteriorate, causing concern not only among the kingdom’s authorities, but also among the international community.
