From July 9 to 24, electricity blackout schedules will be changed in Ukraine. On these days, restrictions on actual consumption measurements will be lifted in each oblast for one day. This data will help to better predict the operation of the power system and ensure a fairer distribution of power.

The measurement schedule is as follows:

• July 9: Dnipropetrovsk region
• July 10: Kyiv
• July 11: Kyiv and Khmelnytskyi regions
• July 12: Donetsk, Chernihiv and Odesa regions
• July 16: Zaporizhzhia, Vinnytsia and Rivne regions
• July 18: Volyn, Lviv and Chernivtsi regions
• July 19: Ternopil, Poltava, Kherson and Transcarpathian regions
• July 23: Cherkasy, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv regions
• July 24: Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Sumy and Kirovohrad regions

“Ukrenergo” notes that these measurements are necessary to determine the actual summer electricity consumption of each region without restrictions. This will help distribute power more accurately and increase the resistance of the power system to attacks.
