Iranian Jews march against Israel and call to ‘blow up Jerusalem’ – Al-Quds Day Sabbath

On 28 March, large-scale anti-Israeli demonstrations took place in Iran on the occasion of Al-Quds Day, where the Jewish community joined calls to “blow up Jerusalem”. These rallies, sanctioned by the authorities, drew particular attention due to the participation of Jewish representatives who supported the “axis of resistance” against Israel. Iranian parliamentarian Dr Homiun Sameah stated that “the Zionist regime is illegitimate”, calling on all free nations to oppose it. However, such rhetoric has raised concerns among the global Jewish community, calling into question the line between anti-Israeli propaganda and anti-Semitism.
