Tel Aviv, August 25, 2024. In the recent armed conflict in northern Israel, the Lebanese Shiite organization Hezbollah suffered major setbacks in its attempts to attack Israeli territory. This was announced by the representative of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari.

According to Hagari, approximately 90% of the targets hit in the shelling were short-range rockets aimed at the northern regions of Israel. He emphasized that these attacks were aimed at harming the Israeli civilian population.

However, as Hagari points out, Hezbollah fell short: Of the approximately 230 rockets and more than 20 drones that were launched, most failed to achieve the desired results. Some of them fell on the way to Israeli territory, others landed in the open area. And most importantly, a significant part of the missiles and drones were intercepted by the defense systems of the Israeli Air Force and the Israeli Navy.

This incident once again emphasizes the importance of modern defense technologies, which allow to effectively protect the territory of Israel from attacks. The Israeli military leadership expressed confidence in readiness for any new threats from Hezbollah or other groups seeking to destabilize the region.

The situation on the northern border remains tense, but thanks to the actions of the IDF and the latest defense technologies, Israel continues to ensure the safety of its citizens.
