Attack on Dnipro: Consequences and Authorities’ Response

This morning, July 8, residents of Dnipro heard explosions, followed by extensive smoke in the sky. The Mayor of Dnipro, Borys Filatov, reported that the strikes hit a residential building and a car service station, but the full consequences are still being determined.

Shortly thereafter, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, Mykola Lukashuk, stated that debris from the strike on the building and car service station also damaged a large number of cars in the city.

More detailed information is expected from the Regional Military Administration.

At 12:47 PM, Borys Filatov reported that there are reports of 4 injured people, one of whom is in serious condition. Municipal services are working at the site of the attack, and people are receiving assistance.

The situation regarding the circumstances and possible causes of the attack remains subject to further investigation and assessment by city and regional authorities.
