This evening, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office released a statement detailing the upcoming visit of the Israeli delegation to Doha. On Wednesday, high-ranking Israeli officials, including Mossad Chief Dedi Barnea, will meet with the Qatari Prime Minister, CIA Director William Burns, and the head of Egyptian intelligence to discuss a new deal for the release of hostages.

As reported by Time Ukraine Israel, citing Israelinfo, these negotiations, organized with the active participation of several key players, could mark a turning point in Israel’s confrontation with Hamas. Egyptian sources have already confirmed that both the CIA Director and the Israeli delegation are expected to arrive in Cairo this week.

In its statement, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office outlined the key principles that the country will uphold during the negotiations. Specifically, Israel continues to insist that any agreed deal must allow for the resumption of military operations in Gaza until all military objectives are achieved.

The Prime Minister also emphasized that Israel’s firm stance in Rafah has prompted Hamas to engage in these current negotiations. A crucial aspect remains the prevention of the covert transfer of weapons to Hamas via the Egyptian border, as well as stopping the return of armed terrorists to northern Gaza.

Special attention will be given to the issue of returning hostages. Israel insists on the maximum number of hostages being released from Hamas captivity. The deal framework, approved by the United States, ensures the release of kidnapped Israelis without compromising other war objectives.

These negotiations will be a significant step in efforts to stabilize the region and ensure the safety of all Israeli citizens.
