US President Joe Biden continues to recover from Covid-19. According to the press service of the White House, with reference to the president’s personal doctor, Kevin O’Conner, some symptoms of the disease still remain.
In particular, Biden continues to have a mild cough and hoarseness, although his general health has improved significantly. The president continues to take the antiviral drug Paxlovid.
“Pulse, blood pressure, respiratory rate and temperature remain absolutely normal. Oxygen saturation of the blood continues to be different from room air. His lungs remain clean,” the doctor’s official letter says.
Despite the illness, Joe Biden continues to fulfill his presidential duties in full. This emphasizes his stability and responsible attitude to his duties.
On July 18, the US president tested positive for the coronavirus. He was self-isolating at his home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. This is not the first case of infection with Covid-19 for the 81-year-old Biden – the previous case was recorded in 2022.
Joe Biden’s case is a reminder of the importance of following health and vaccination recommendations for all citizens.
